In a world that keeps us rushing from one thing to the next, it’s easy to disconnect from ourselves.

We give everything to our work, family, friends and partner… abandoning our own needs along the way.

I know this feeling intimately.

My own journey began when cancer forced me to stop and truly listen to my body. I had to slowly relearn how to feel safe and whole in my body again. Meditation was my path back to myself, teaching me how to ride life’s waves with grace, trust, and calm.

The Haven space is here to offer you that same invitation: to come home to yourself.

To rediscover a quiet sanctuary within, a place of calm and comfort that’s always there, no matter where life takes you. In this space, you’ll learn that taking time for yourself is not selfish: in fact, it’s one of the most generous things you can do.

You don’t have to be seeking spiritual enlightenment to join (although this
can be a yummy side effect to Yoga Nidra meditations). This is for anyone who wants to reconnect, feel whole and find their own inner haven. Meditation empowers you to put on your own oxygen mask first, so you can be there more fully for others.

Step into The Haven. Take a deep grounding breath, drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw and let any tension melt away.

Let this space guide you back home to yourself, one mindful moment at a time.

Meditation is
transformative.

Through consistent practice,
you can transition from:

Exhausted to deeply rested, easing into a sleep that’s both restorative and undisturbed.

Burnt out to a state of relaxed ease, where you can easily recharge your energy.

Lost and untethered to focused and motivated, channelling your energy with clarity and intention.

Procrastinating to productive, finding the inner motivation to accomplish tasks with ease.

Insecure to confident and self-assured, empowered to trust and love yourself.

Anxious to present and grounded, able to meet life’s challenges in a calm way.

Testimonial

“Through Siobhan’s guided meditations,
I have been able to connect with myself on a deeper level, and have more acceptance and be kinder to my body.”

“The meditations have provided me with a sense of peace and tranquillity that I didn’t know that I needed, whilst simultaneously helping me to become more intune with my body. Regular practice has helped me to be better at decluttering my mind, providing physical, mental and emotional relief.

There are always previous meditation recordings available on the members page for when you want or need them. It’s not difficult to practise as you get into a comfy position for the session. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone. It really is incredibly powerful and effective. I am a more content human because of these meditations. Thank you so much.”

The science meets the spiritual

Practices like mindfulness, sound healing and Yoga Nidra hold transformative spiritual power, but their impact goes beyond the soul:

They profoundly benefit the body and mind.

Driven by a deep curiosity, I delved into
the science behind these ancient practices. My unique approach combines years of experience in meditation with an understanding and appreciation of neuroscience, grounding each practice in both spirituality and evidence-based methods.

With training in hypnotherapy, I can help you access deeper states of awareness to release limiting beliefs and emotional blocks. This blend of spiritual insight and scientific knowledge creates a powerful pathway for personal growth.

Our sessions and courses guide you step-by-step, helping you build confidence in your practice. It’s not about perfection, it’s simply about showing up for yourself.

Okay, I’m ready to begin. How do I set up for a session? Do I need anything?

The first thing to think about when you’re setting up for your meditation practice is: “how can I be the most comfortable?” This is the time you’ve carved out for you, your relaxation and mental health. Making sure you give yourself the best possible chance of slipping into the world of melty, cosy, indulgent meditation is paramount. It might look something like this:

  • Find a calm and quiet place, making sure any people or animals won't disturb you. Turn off any technology that might ping!
  • Set the scene by dimming the lights, perhaps lighting a candle, or using your favourite aromatherapy oil in a diffuser.
  • Wrap yourself in comfort. Wear loose-fitting and super comfy clothes, a warm jumper and socks, and an eye pillow if you’re unable to dim the lights.
  • Feel supported by lying on a comfy yoga mat, sofa or bed. Use a very thin pillow or folded blanket under the head, a rolled up blanket or bolster under the knees if you tend to suffer from any back stiffness or pain, and most importantly, cover the body with a blanket, as the body temperature tends to drop a few degrees during this sort of relaxation practice.
  • If you find that there are still body parts that feel like they need some extra love or support, please take the time to find appropriate cushioning or warmth before you begin. Comfort is key here!

How will it feel?

Each and every practice will be different. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional, no practice will be like another. The most common feelings during a practice are ones of deep rest, complete surrender and peace. Of course, occasionally feelings of confusion or sadness may arise– these feelings are just the body’s way of releasing negative past experiences, beliefs or trauma from the body and mind. The practice of Yoga Nidra specifically can feel like a detox. Images and memories will be released from the subconscious, and sometimes we are aware of them as this happens. Sometimes we are not.

I will always advise students to pay attention to each and every sensation or thought throughout the session, no matter the quality of that experience, because gentle and compassionate acceptance in each given moment is the first step on the healing and self-improvement journey.
